Dawlish

Dawlish is a pretty seaside resort located on the south Devon coast. This relaxing town is very popular with tourists and locals alike who visit for the personality and charm that Dawlish really does contribute to this area of Devon. This feeling is continued with an area known as The Lawn, a public park, which has a delightful little stream and duck pond running through the centre surrounded with green lawns and gardens on its way to the sea via a series of little weirs and falls. Dawlish railway station and its renowned piece of the main south west coast rail-line runs parallel to the main Town Beach. The beach with its tall wall and footpath on top stretches for over a mile along to Langstone Rock with the Devon beaches of Dawlish Warren located just beyond.
