Exeter

Over 2000 years old - Exeter the regions capital is home to the magnificent Norman Cathedral of St Peter which can be seen from all over the city. As well as Norman architecture, Exeter has Elizabethan, Georgian and Victorian buildings within its Roman walls. Exeter today has developed into a modern day city, which provides the County of Devon with a central base for education, medicine, religion, commerce and culture.
