Bigbury on Sea

If you are looking for a safe haven either just to chill out in or take the kids head for the South Hams and Bigbury-on-sea in particular. You won't find much late night entertainment just clean beaches, warm clean sea, good food at reasonable prices and friendly people. I live in Plymouth and have taken my grandchildren to almost every seaside location within a 50-mile radius and we always vote Bigbury as top of our list of places to be. At £4.50 a day the parking isn't cheap but it is worth every penny to have such clean facilities. If you haven't been before, go now and if you haven't been for a few years - go again as it's recently had a complete overhaul and is a very nice place to be. Remember if the weather changes and it rains Dartmouth and Plymouth are only a few miles drive away.
