The Tour de Manche is a 745 mile long cycling tour that visits the English South West counties of Devon & Dorset and the French Northern areas of Brittany & Normandy. World Cup Rugby is coming to Devon

World Cup Rugby is coming to Devon

It has been confirmed that the 2015 World Cup rugby tournament will be coming to Devon. The home of Exeter Chiefs, Sandy Park has been chosen as one of 13 venues that will host fixtures during the event. The Devon capital, Exeter, will see three World Cup matches staged at the Chief’s state of the art stadium starting with the visit of Tonga against the qualifiers from the Africa one group. Cranbrook Devon

Devon gets its first new town to be built since the middle ages. The new town of Cranbrook will be a self-sufficient, low carbon community eventually offering up to 6,550 new Devon homes some of which will be classed as affordable housing. The community will benefit from new schools, shops and transport links including a new £4.5m train station. The town is located close to the Exeter Science Park on the outskirts of Exeter.
