Devonlink Update 01/10/2019

If you’ve not visited before – Hello and Welcome to the DevonLink.co.uk blog!

From today we are using this blog to keep you up to date with what’s happening while the main DevonLink.co.uk site is being revamped.
Although certain sections of the Devon website are still live and working, including the Devon photograph gallery, other parts have been removed due to technical issues. We can only apologise for this and keep you informed here with the changes and updates as they go live.

There are a few new features and upgrades also planned and using this blog for development news is just the start by recording the changes made and others planned for the coming new year.

Remember you can also keep following us on our social media channels for news and updates.

Best Wishes,

The Village of Clovelly

The Village of Clovelly

Clovelly North Devon

ClovellyWe’ve added some new photographs to the Clovelly and Devon photograph gallery. You can view the village page at: www.devonlink.co.uk/clovelly/

Clovelly is a small former fishing village located on the North Devon coast. It is notable for its steep cobbled main street that leads right down to the harbour. Clovelly is privately owned and has been subject to some dispute and argument over its entrance fee to visit this quaint and old-fashioned little Devon village.

You can check out some of these disputes and arguments on the Clovelly area reviews and comments page.

The Devon Visitor Attractions page has been updated and is now live.

This section now includes and displays more of the Attractions in Devon that were originally only featuring within the nearest towns and villages.

It’s an extra feature of the site, so you can still visit a Devon area page and navigate to a tourists attraction, it just offers another method if required.

Devon Reviews

Devon Reviews

The Devon Town’s reviews, comments and description pages are now online.

This section of DevonLink.co.uk is designed for residents with their local area knowledge to submit a review or description which bests describes their village, town or city. It also offers visitors the chance to comment or review on what they found when visiting the area and thus share their experiences with others who may visit in the future!

To see a good example of how the reviews pages are working – visit Woolacombe or Westward Ho! where Barbara and S Gent have described the coastal towns. Alternatively visit Clovelly where plenty of comments have been made regarding the charges to enter the picturesque village.

To add reviews to Devon’s towns and villages you will first need to navigate to the area required and follow the ‘Add a review to this page’ link, complete the form and submit!
